How to pay with crypto

Never bought crypto before? This 5-minute walkthrough takes you from zero. You can pay with a bank card or PayPal at most exchanges.

TL;DR: 3 steps

  1. Sign up for an exchange (Binance recommended) and finish ID verification — about 10 minutes
  2. Deposit money using your bank card, PayPal, or SEPA (5 minutes)
  3. Buy USDT (1 USDT = $1, no price swings), then come back and scan the QR code on the payment page

Which coin?

We accept 100+ cryptocurrencies, but for first-time buyers only one matters: USDT.

USDT (Tether)

A stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. The price you see when you click "Buy" is exactly what you pay — **no exchange rate swings**. Strongly recommended for your first crypto purchase.

BTC / ETH (Bitcoin / Ethereum)

Classic, but the price changes every minute. A $4.99 quote might end up being $4.95 or $5.05 by the time the blockchain confirms. Not ideal for beginners.

Where to buy

Pick an exchange, finish ID verification (KYC), and then deposit fiat currency (USD, EUR, JPY, etc.) to buy crypto.

Binance — largest globally, **recommended for beginners**

binance.com

Supports card payment, SEPA, and SWIFT in most countries. Sign-up needs email + phone + government ID. (Note: not available in the US — Americans should use Coinbase.)

OKX

okx.com

Popular alternative to Binance, available in most regions. UI is similar.

Bybit

bybit.com

Singapore-based, **lighter KYC requirements** than Binance. Card payment supported.

Coinbase (US-friendly)

coinbase.com

Publicly traded US company, most regulated but fees are higher. Best choice if you're in the US.

Full walkthrough (Binance + USDT example)

1

1. Sign up and finish KYC

Email → password → phone verification → upload ID document (front + back) + selfie. Approval usually takes 5-30 minutes.

2

2. Deposit fiat

Open Spot Trading → Buy Crypto → choose your local currency. Use a debit/credit card or bank transfer. Buy slightly more than you need (e.g. for a $5 pack, buy $5.50 of USDT to cover network fees).

3

3. Place the order on ximages

On the pricing page, click "Pay with crypto" → you'll be redirected to NowPayments → select USDT → it shows you a wallet address and the exact amount to send.

4

4. Withdraw USDT from the exchange

Copy the NowPayments address. Back in Binance: Wallet → Withdraw → USDT → paste the address → **choose network TRC20 (cheapest, ~$1 fee)** → enter the amount → confirm with 2FA.

5

5. Wait for confirmation

Within 1-3 minutes NowPayments will mark the payment as received, and ximages automatically credits your account. If it hasn't shown up after 30 minutes, contact [email protected].

Money-saving tips

  • **Choose TRC20, not ERC20**: TRC20 fees are ~$1, ERC20 fees can be $5-20.
  • Your first withdrawal may trigger a risk check — the exchange will ask you to fill in recipient info. Just fill it in honestly.
  • USDT doesn't go up or down (it's always $1), so it's safe to buy a little extra and leave the rest in the exchange for next time.
  • **Crypto transfers are irreversible**. For your first transfer, send a small test amount (e.g. $5) before doing larger ones.

⚠️ Safety warnings

  • Never share your exchange password or seed phrase with anyone — including "customer support"
  • ximages will **never** DM you asking for your wallet password or seed phrase
  • "Double your crypto", "locked staking with guaranteed returns", "VIP airdrops" — these are 100% scams
